Day 2 in Siem Reap, Cambodia

Second day was quite crazy!
We rented a bike for each of us the night before at USD2. Woke up and departed at 4.45am that morning to be at Angkor Wat to witness the long awaited sunset. The ride was a little crazy, since it had been a long time since I last rode a bicycle and some more it was an old heavy bike! Gosh!
Nevertheless, we still reached the destination because I'm so determined to see the sunrise! :)

The view of the lake before entering the famous Angkor Wat.

Noticed that the view is constantly changing every second, the same thing goes to life. Therefore, live your life to the fullest every seconds without any regret.

Selfie with the sohpo! Hehe

So many people were there before us to chase the sunrise!

Ahhhhhh. Beautiful view!

You will see plenty shots of Angkor Wat Sunrise cause I can't stop myself from shoting the mesmerizing scene!

Do you like the view? I was just using my Mi3 for all these pictures ya. Feel like very pro right? Any lousy camera can get the same view I promised. Cause the view is just amazing the way it is.

So its our turn to be in the picture with dearest Angkor Wat.

Selfie #1

I love this picture of us!

How cool is the mirror image of Angkor Wat?

Heading into the Angkor Wat itself. It is a long walk into the place.

Met our fren Mr. Monkey snatching food from tourist!

This is the water damp according to the tour guide!

She never bother to wait for me. So sad :(

Epic failed!

Resting before continuing our journey! :)

The back part view of Angkor Wat.

I considered myself as a good photographer! :)

On our way out, we decided to try some palm juice being sold by some local people at USD1 per cup.
The taste was quite pleasant and u will feel the tingling effect on your tongue when drinking it.

Her and her drinks!

Gloomy sky where it started to rain a little and hence we fasten our pace.

Look at this silly fella meditating in front of the Angkor lake. Haha

Second stop: Bayon Temple

回眸一笑

Take 1: Can you spot the two faces in this photo?
Take 2: sui Yeong

Take 3: 傻笑

Admired the carvings of ancient Cambodian people. It was so fine and so good.

I have no idea why they will have such an idea to have four face Buddha on the building. But that's what attracted me to visit them!

Some leftovers of the stones after some kind of war. They are actually trying to rearrange the stones and build it back.

The Bayon!

Next stop: Ta Phrom

This is the place where we will have centuries old big trees with huge roots! The famous movie was shot here too!
Look at the huge root!
The cutie with the temple!
When temple's building united with the tree roots! It really looked amazing!

God is just so amazing!
Hello from us!

This is the legendary place for the movie!
And this is us with the legendary tree root!
Met a dog on our way out from Ta Phrom!

Our old bike and the exhausted TSJ!
Ended our tour at Angkor with bike at around 1.30pm and went back to our guesthouse to SLEEP!

Went for dinner at this famous restaurant nearby old market.
Ordered drinks like mango blended and another unknown drink which I can't recall!

The fried rice!
Papaya salad
Famous beef stew in Cambodia

After dinner we walked around and discovered their wet market. Noticed that they actually sit on top of the table and sell their stuufs. Probably I have not seen this anywhrr yet.

After a hectic day of cycling, we have decided to go for a massage and our tuk tuk driver brought us to a cheap and nice place!

Tea was served before massage session!

Us before the massage!

Selfie!

Opps! You can't really see the name of the massage centre due to my stupid phone! Shall get a new camera for my next travelling place soon!

Souvenirs that we got from the market! Shot glass with gold, sver and bronze coloured Angkor wat and Buddha face on the outer part of the glass! Nice one! I considered this as one of the nicest shot glass in collection so far!
That's all for our second day! Stay tuned for the third day!

Xoxo!
