Bangkok & Pattaya 2013- Pattaya Chapter

So here I'm to update about my Bangkok & Pattaya 8 days trip with two of my besties!
The trip was supposed to be a 5 people's trip but two of them cannot make it =(
Anyway, let's continue with the trip's update on where we went, what we ate and what we bought!

This trip was super AWESOME and relax for me as it fell on the day right after my logbook submission! *jumps*

So I prepared this huge POLO luggage that grandma bought me to further my studies!
Luggage checked!
Money checked!
Passport checked!
Lets go!

- 20.8.2013 -

Took the bus to LCCT alone as the three of us were in different places!

Flight was at 10pm and thus we hang out at Starbucks after finishing with baggage checked in!
Look at the two girls who were so busy with their phones!

First picture of the trip <3 p="">

It's time to board the plane for a two hours flight.

And Ms Lim dozed off with Totoro blanket covering her face!

We finally reached the spacious hotel located near to the Don Mueng airport priced at RM80 with a queen sized bed, attached bathroom, and some useful facilities.
Look at the cute little decoration made from towel.
After bathing and settled all the stuffs, we walked to the nearest 7-11 for some awesome supper. We had pork sausages, tom yam cup noodles, and a very nice honey lemon drinks to fill up our starving stomach after a long day!

- 21.8.2013 -

First day in Thailand!
This morning we boarded a taxi to the airport to board a bus to Pattaya beach!
And we passed by one of the very common building that you will find in Thailand, which is the temple as Buddhism is the main religion over there.

The friends with Don Mueng International Airport.

Pattaya is only one hour plus on road from Bangkok city. Choices of transportation includes aeroplane, bus, and van. We had chosen to take bus to save our cost.
In order to get to the bus station which picks you up and send you to Pattaya, you can take the A1 bus from the airport which cost 30 baht and you will get down at Mochit station.

I'm not really sure if the bus can send you directly to the bus station because we got down at the BTS station and took a taxi to the correct bus station. Differences in languages really kills!

When you reached the bus station, just go in to the information counter and ask for the location of the company which sells ticket to Pattaya.
As far as I know, there's only one company and the bus departs every hour to Pattaya.

Please refer this link for the Pattaya bus schedule and the price of bus ticket.

Here we go! Departing to Pattaya!

Reaching the Flipper Lodge Hotel located at Soi 8, Pattaya which is on a street right opposite of the beach.
Sadly to say that the Pattaya beach is not that clean, nevertheless it is still awesome!

Our hotel room at Flipper Lodge Hotel
Room is spacious enough with good facilities except the wifi where you need to pay according to their rate =(

 The gloomy sky at Pattaya.

 I'm in the Mickey T.

We were starving after a long journey and improper breakfast.
Went for lunch right after throwing all our luggage in the hotel room.
Walked pass a random restaurant which is located right opposite the beach and decided to give it a try.

We ordered coconut drink to release the heat from the scorching sun.
Felt so so so refresh!

The raw vege served together with the food.

Som tam nua- Green papaya salad which is sour and spicy top with some groundnuts and dried shrimp that taste so good. slurrps!

Sour soup squid that taste good too!

Not forgetting the must have item in Thailand- Tom yam soup!

 Thai style fish cakes

We were happy with the food served!

Then we walked around and entered 7-11 for snacks!
Looked how many Lays chips have we bought!

First day buy only in 7-11

Another activity at night is the Tiffany Cabaret Show that we went!
It claimed that it is the oldest cabaret show in town!
The building looked so glamour!

The VIP ticket without transfer bought online from Asia Web Direct is so much cheaper than instant ticket which you buy from the counter. Our ticket priced at 550baht whereas the ticket sold in the place itself cost around 800-900baht.
Now you see how much you can save if you buy the ticket earlier!
The ticket comes with a complimentary drink of coke or orange juice.

The beautiful place!

Picture of us with the decorations!

The hall is grand too with different colours of lighting and comfortable seats.

The show is really good.
Maybe the performance of dancing is just normal but the background decorations is really awesome and worth the price.
I actually like some of their elegant and glamour clothing!
Not forget to tell you that the body curvature of the ladyboy actually made me make a plan to achieve a better body shape and win them! LOL

The show lasted for around one and a half hour and then some of the ladyboy will go to the garden and you can take picture with them and of course you can touch their breast too cause they just lie too close to you!
They are really beautiful!

Ending the night with a good foot massage cost 200baht which is really good.

Saw this street food aunty selling something we don't know but we did not hesitate to order one! Guess what it is?

Another street bbq!

Here it is- Seafood salad mix with glass noddle
Spicy and sour!
Yumsss!

Chicken bbq that tasted good too!
*Tips: Never ever hesitate to try the street food in Thailand. It is awesome! Just leave the hygiene aside ;)

- 22.8.2013 -

Here's the day I'm waiting for! There's a few superb activities today related to sea and sky ;)

So here's the breakfast provided by the hotel.
It's the fusion of western, thai and asian style breakfast.
I myself love the pancake, eggs and baked potatoes.

There you go! We were the team A.

Walking to board the speed boat which will take us to Kohlarn island for snorkelling.

In the safety jacket.

The speed boat taking off!

The two soh po!

Three of us.
I bet you can hardly recognize us. lol

Next will be--SEA WALKING
I bet you have never try this before because there's not an island in Malaysia providing this activity yet.
You will go down from a boat by climbing the stairs, then the safety guard will put on a helmet for you where you can breathe in the helmet without choking.

Besides, you need to walk hand in hand with your group mates guided by the divers.

Going down to the sea.

With the heavy helmet that let me breathe as though I'm on the land.

Lim Ke li's turn

I'm so sorry.
That's the only picture I have for her.
Just blame the nooby photographer.

Chou Kit Ying

I'm so sorry.
That's the only picture I have for her.
Just blame the nooby photographer.

It's amazing to walk in the water  with your feet underground.
Feeding your eyes with the corals and thousands or millions of small fishes.
If they ever improve the location of sea walking, I will definitely come again!

Peace!
Enjoyable Sea walking trip!

Lunch was served by 1pm and we were so so hungry after the water activities.

Our pretty foot with the clear water (cannot be compared to redang or perhentian)

The siao kia selling herself at 10 baht!
How cheap can this maid be?
HAHAHAHAHA

<3>

The bad thing of travelling in 3- pictures are always with two people only =(

So we asked somebody to capture this picture for us!

I think we were probably discussing about rubber band?

After a series of picture taking sessions, we sat down on the chair provided.
Beach and coconut is a perfect combo.
So how can we missed the coconut out since we were here on the beach!

Coconut and Lays chips.
Hello! Don't act cool okay?
You took my sunglasses! :(

Laying down on the chair like a boss
It's so so windy here!
Felt so relaxed after a year of hard work ans studying.

Like this picture a little!

Wearing the new buy in Pattaya yesterday-bikini in red and white stripes!

Paid some money and we got this banana boat activity with two Macau-ians and one Indian who is afraid of water.

SET!
READY!

&
GO!

We fell to the sea for three times in total as the wind was too strong and waves were strong too!
It's really hard to climb back to this banana in the middle of the sea.
It's draining all my energy!
In that second I'm fear of banana boat already!

Last highlight of the tour!
The long awaiting para-sailing to view the whole Pattaya.
It's awesome to have sea below your feet, the sky above you, and building plus scenery surrouding you!
FANTABULOUS experience!

My turn.
I felt that it's kinda rush because they were in a hurry to let us go up as the wind was getting stronger and stronger. Nevertheless, it was FUN! I got the chance of witnessing Pattaya in the center of the sea overlooking the buildings here.

 The super ganas face.

Happy with all the activities! :)

And here's the group picture of the sea adventure tour in Pattaya!

Our souvenier for the your cost at 250 baht per person.

We were exhausted and feeling hungry on the way back to hotel!
Saw this lady selling pancake which looked like roti canai in Malaysia.
We had decided to give it a try! ;)
So we ordered a banana pancake.

The end product which tasted so good with the chocolate syrup.

After resting and refreshing  ourselves, we went for dinner.
If I'm not mistaken, the restaurant's name is KISS Pattaya located near the roundabout in the meet up point of Pattaya First & Second Beach road. You can search where is it in the Pattaya Local map.

Squid with garlic.

Fried egg with pork.

Thai Green Curry

Tom Yam Seafood

PAd Thai

Thai local beer

Triumph in the sky-ing
The wifi here is really good!

Love the food here with reasonable price. Do try it out when you are in Pattaya.

- 23.8.2013 -

So this morning we bid farewell to awesome Pattaya and took a bus back to Bangkok.
