Ulu Chepor BBQ

So this is the place we went BBQ with the Ipoh attachment group for the celebration of New Year 2012.
No idea why Ipoh town is having such a Kampung place?
Let me tell you =D
This is Ulu Chepor located in Chemor, a Malay kampung on your left side when you are heading to Chemor from Jelapang.

Ulu Chepor is a good place for BBQ and there's a waterfall. I am not really sure where is the highest point of the waterfall, but I can assure you that the water at the upside is clean, cooling and refreshing.

This is the picture people took at Ulu Chepor.
Of course the real one doesn't look as nice as this due to the software called Photoshop.
Nevertheless, this is still a good place for an instant getaway.

So this is me and Sharon Mah.
We were scattering the newspaper on the sand so that we can put our things there.
*love my fair skin which is due to the sunlight*

The girls were helping out to prepare the fishball and other food for BBQ with the BBQ stick.

Yours truly, Amy and the guys were helping to start up the fire ;)

Granmonte Vineyard @ Thailand

I came across this Granmonte Vineyard which is located in Thailand when i watched a TV programme today. Since i planned to go Thailand for a trip this year, therefore i google-d it soon after i finished watching the programme.

This vineyard is started by the family of Mr. Vissoth because the family love nature a lot!!!

This is the main building of the vineyard.

The interior of the building with a lot of wines and visitors can sit down and relax to enjoy their glass of wine.

This is Mr. Vissoth, who act as the tour guide and explains about the plantation of the grapes vineyard.
According to the TV programme and some blogs, he is a friendly guy.

This is how the wineyard looks like.
People says that the view is great if you stand at the balcony of the guesthouse nearby and you will truly love this place.

Grnamonte's wine production.

Mr. Vissoth's daughter, who is the only female vintner in Thailand.

A guesthouse is built here for guests to stay and be closed with the nature.
I'm not sure about the rate though.

This is Mr. Vissoth and his family. =D

According to the TV programme, You will be able to visit the wine production area and get to taste different types of wine produced there. Besides, there is also a Fine-dining restaurant nearby there which provide special food that used grapes as theme. It is rather special if you are bored of the normal recipes out there. I'm seriously attracted to this place after watching it and will definitely pay a visit there =D Interested to join me???

You can read this blog too about this vineyard @ http://themanfrommoselriver.wordpress.com/2009/03/27/thailand-new-latitude-wines-granmonte-vineyard/

*Hopefully i'm able to make a visit soon enough after my exam finishes. I will definitely tell you about my visit there. Stay tune.

Ends with lots of love,
XOXO
