Wedding at Church & Dinner

I have always thought that holding a wedding in church is much more sweet and romantic compared to Chinese style wedding. This might be due to the tons of movies and drama that I have been watching since young. Seeing the bride held her dad's arm and walk through the red carpet with her lacey wedding gown stretches on the floor slowly towards the bridegroom and then the dad will pass her daughter's hand to him and says now I pass her to you and you must take good care of her. Then the pastor will utter some sentences until both the bride and bridegroom says 'I do' to each other, put on the rings and the bridegroom kisses the bride. The whole scene is just too romantic and sweet to me!

I crapped too much! I had this little opportunity to attend my cousin's wedding in Wesley Methodist Church last Saturday. It was the first time in life i attended such wedding! However, we turned up a little late and we missed the front part where the bride slowly walks  to the bridegroom. How sad it was =(

( I attended my kindergarden here and thus this place meant a lot to me)

Listened to the pastor's story about Man and woman in bible and then witnessed the whole ceremony from vowing--> I do-->put on ring-->kissing the bride-->and lighting the candle which means that two of them unite as one in the name of God. The whole ceremony was an eye opening scene to me. 

After that, we went out for the buffet lunch and took some pictures together!

Wedding dinner was held at Kok Thai Restaurant in Ipoh for relatives only. 

Dishes are awesome because it's been a long time since I last went to a wedding dinner with family. 

Never get to take a pic with the bride and bridegroom as they were too busy with entertaining the other relatives and thus we took picture on our own.

Earrings and bracelet were bought in Chatuchak market, Bangkok.
